Is-sinjal għal QATTA’ jew ĊARRAT isir bl-idejn forma ta’ F bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej imissu u s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn jibdew flimkien fin-nofs imbagħad jisseparaw. Id waħda timxi lura u normalment tispiċċa bil-pala tħares ’il quddiem waqt li l-id l-oħra timxi ’l-quddiem.
The sign for TEAR or RIP is made with both hands in the shape of F with the thumb and index finger touching and the other fingers apart. The palms face downwards. The hand start together at the front and then separate. One hand moves backwards and usually ends up with palm facing forward whilst the other hand moves forward.
